Why do I write a blog?
When did writing become this hard?
When everything turned into quick posts on social platforms, when videos get watched at 1.5x speed, and people don’t even bother asking, “Where did you get that idea?”, writing a long blog post feels like swimming against the current.
But that’s exactly why it needs to be written.
A blog is a home, unlike digital renting
Places like Twitter—well, X now—YouTube, Instagram… they’re all rented platforms. They exist today, and maybe tomorrow they won’t. The content you build there ultimately doesn’t belong to you. A blog, though old-school, is your own land. You own your data, your design, your words, even your silences.
I built this space to speak—not like shouting in a crowd, but like sitting down with you over a coffee, in a silence that’s full of meaning.
Why write when I could just make videos?
Sure, I’m a bit active on YouTube too. Video has power, but it also has limits. In video you’re tied to timing, algorithms get a say, the audience’s attention wanders. Writing lets you pause, breathe, re-read a sentence, reference, quote, think. Writing is depth, and I write here so I can think better myself.
Who is this blog for?
Everyone? No. I think it’s for those who still look for meaning. Those who want to know, not just watch. Those who want to ask, not just receive answers. For someone who goes beyond Google searches and wants the story behind things.
Maybe it’s for the junior programmer who wants to face the real pains of the craft. Or someone stuck in a fight with Rust or Go, searching for a small light in the dark. Maybe it’s just for myself—because often, writing is how you scream to save yourself from forgetting.
What will this blog be about?
- My experiences writing Rust, Go, Java, and sometimes even Bash
- The philosophy of software: why a language or tech is better or worse—not just in benchmarks, but in human terms
- My mistakes, my bugs, and what they taught me
- Behind-the-scenes of the projects I release on GitHub or YouTube
- Conversations with myself about tech, learning, migration, and the path of life
An invitation
If you’ve read this far, you’re one of the few people who still value reading. Welcome to my blog—a place for code, thought, memory, and meaning.
